There’s some fight within factions as well. For instance, Amity (the peaceful) who used to be very peace about everything and doesn’t try to solve problem by violence has started to form their own army in order to protect her own faction. That’s why I quite admire the leader of Amity, Johanna. Sometimes, you just need to be bold to protect yourself. Don’t always be a peaceful person.
The character setting changes as well from good to bad and from bad to good. For example, Caleb, Tris’ brother, sided with the Erudite, he is sentenced to be executed. Tris asks Tobias to rescue him before they leave the city and so Caleb escapes prison with Tobias’ help and they board the train to the fence. In the previous movie, Caleb had betray her sister because he’s so proud of himself because he’s one of Erudite, who works for government. In this movie, he found the truth behind the lie and started to regret what he had done to Erudite. So he left Erudite and join Tris to escape through the fence. This kind of changes is quite normal in movie, people betray people then he/she regretted. I can expect this kind of twist in character setting from starting.
The other character is Four’s mother, Evelyn. Evelyn is against the Allegiant group. The Allegiant group that stayed in Chicago even bigger and later on attack Evelyn's band of Factionless. Evelyn finds The Death Serum in Erudite Headquarters and keeps it. After that, the Bureau decides to reset the city, but the Allegiant in the compound go save the people they don't want to be reset. Tobias decides to reset his mother instead of his father. However, he gives Evelyn the choice to call up a treaty with Marcus and Johanna and start over as Tobias' mother like she was supposed from the beginning. She chooses to be a better mother and call up the treaty. Family bond is still the strongest bond in the world no matter how thing changes.
There are a lot of plot twist including changing in background setting, character setting and behavior of society. People are not always loyalty. People who has own opinion and thinking is good but people who dare to protect his/her own opinion and thinking Is brave. We all live in a society that blind us for entire life. If you keep repeating doing something every day, please stop it. Makes some changes or else you will die like the other else. Be brave, do things that you feel that’s right. This is what I learnt from this movie, Allegiant.

Allegiant, the third film of The Divergent series portraits a story about one group of rebels that try to escape from the control of government that treat them as an experiment. This group of rebels is called the Allegiant.
In the previous movies, the initial background was set as a country where people are divided into 5 main factions: Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), and Erudite (the intellectual). People are live in peace because every factions has their own duty. The city is in order with lots of rules and laws. The city is under control of one powerful faction, Erudite.
The background setting is really interesting. They start with a city where they are living but they realize there’s a new world beyond the wall of city. After they discovered the new world outside the city, the found another new world which is invisible and highly protected from the outsider, called to Bureau of Genetic Welfare, the main city of this movie. It’s kind of mind twisted because you thought this city is a good city but then after a while you realized the leader is actually a bad guy then they started to escape again, like never ending finding the truly good city. I felt that this one of a point which makes this movie so interesting.
The architecture is impressive as well, consist of combination old and new buildings. There’s a big contrast between the two different city. The municipal is advance and newly built, located at the heart of the city. People who mainly appear at there is Erudite. People are gifted and intelligent, dressed properly and looks very smart. The city is organized and well planned but lack of happiness. People are like doing same stuff every day, there’s lack of spirit of adventurous.
On the other hand, dauntless live at far from the city. A place where building is abandoned, cracks, collapsed. The city hygiene is lack ideal but the people there are brave. They are adventurous and willing to try everything. They treat their city as a playground, jumping from one block to the other block. Even though their living place is lack ideal, but they enjoy it very much.
After discovering the truth about their walled city and breaking down its oppressive faction system, The background setting changes again. The citizen are not following their leader anymore. Tris and Four were recruited by the Allegiant and she is put in a group to escape the city, while the other members will stay behind and fight Evelyn and her new government. There’s a totally changes of the society, they started to have their own thinking and bravely fight against the government.
In Allegiant, the city setting changed to Bureau of Genetic Welfare, a highly advanced city where they learn that years ago the government believed that society's problems were caused by "damaged genes". The technology is more advance and looks more futuristic especially medical technology. Pink sky and the city is full with chemical element, so everyone that going into this city has to be cleanse first. The city is in organic shape and consist of one main tower that become the hierarchy of this city. With small plane as transport, it create a sense of futuristic. I’m quite impressed because this city appear in no way, a desert. It’s hidden by using technology because they need to protect themselves. A whole new world discovered once again.
